FAMILY SURVEY 2026 - results

In February 2026, the PTA surveyed families about priorities for the PTA budget. We received 35 responses, representing roughly 15–20% of Montlake families.

Among respondents, Arts Programming & Classes emerged as top priority, receiving the most #1 and #2 rankings. Other priorities that received strong support included Academic Intervention, Supplies (such as library books, gym equipment, and classroom materials), and supporting the resources teachers and staff value most.

Other categories such as field trips, science/STEM, and afterschool enrichment showed more evenly distributed rankings, suggesting a range of interests among families. Categories like assemblies and community events generally ranked lower but still received some support.
